New England

The first shots of the
revolution were fired here on June 17, 1775 at Bunker Hill after Colonialist
raided the harbor and dumped the tea from England into the harbor. While not
technically a part of New England, Philadelphia, PA is forever tied to the
region because of the historical significance of several sites in the city.
The South
The best place to visit in the southern United States is
Atlanta, Georgia. In Atlanta you can see the south at its most modern, while
only being a few hours driving time from many of the souths most historic destinations
like: Montgomery, AL where you can visit the Rosa Parks Library and Museum,
honoring Rosa Parks who helped ignite the civil rights movement. Atlanta is
also home to Centennial Olympic Park, where the 1996 Summer Olympics were held.

The Midwest
The Midwest is filled with many interesting places to
visit and things to do. A stop in Chicago is a must for any visitor to the
Midwest. In addition to being a world class city, the list of things to see and
do in Chicago is endless. In addition to the variety of wonderful activities along
the Lake Michigan waterfront, Chicago is also home to world class museum's
like: The Field Museum of Natural History, The Museum of Science and Industry,
and the Art Institute of Chicago.
For car buffs a stop in the Motor City: Detroit, MI is a
must to explore the development and manufacture of today's automobiles. The
Henry Ford Museum offers visitors a glimpse into the life of the man who
developed the means to mass produce the automobile to put a car in every garage
in America.
The West

The trolley car system
built between 1873 and 1890 is still running today. It is still used by
commuters in the city but is mostly a tourist attraction that helps draw
millions of visitors to the city every year. Looking across San Francisco Bay
visitors can see the famous Alcatraz Island home to the prison of the same
name, where criminals like Al Capone once lived.
